Leading / Common Uses: Digestive: Nausea, morning sickness, travel sickness, indigestion. Also noted in studies to increase gastrointestinal motility. Respiratory: Stimulating to the respiratory system for chronic coughs, sinusitis, bronchitis. Musculoskeletal: Ginger is warming and helps improve micro circulation, helpful as and ingredient in massage blends for some types of pain with stiffness, warming cold limb, increasing circulation and invigorating.

Note: There is a noted difference between the chemical compounds of steam distilled ginger and ginger extracted using CO2 extraction method. FYI, we use Ginger CO2 in our Q-Easy blend.

Recipe – Warming Massage Blend

  • 6 drops ginger (distilled or CO2)
  • 6 drops rosemary
  • 6 drops orange
    Add to 1 ounce (30 ml) carrier oil or natural lotion.
